50mm/1.8

My father-in-law lent me his 50mm/1.8 lens and up until a few days ago I was having the hardest time getting good shots with it. A co-worker of mine uses a Nikon and shoots with a similar lens so I took my camera to work the other day and she showed me how to set it and what to look for. I finally had time to mess with it this morning and I feel like I'm making huge progress with it! Plus I learned a few little tricks that my camera can do that I was completely unaware of.

ISO: 800
aperture: f/1.8
shutter speed: 1/125
