Home Sweet Home

Well, we did it! We have bought a house! We are unofficially closing on September 1, allowing us to have October with no rent or mortgage payment. Woot! I'm so excited to finally have a place we can truly call home. Ever since we started our search for a house pretty much everything about our apartment has annoyed me. I'm looking forward to parking in a garage, planting my own flowers, leaving my bedroom windows open at night (we have a sliding door in our room now), paint and decorate however we want, and not have a playground directly outside our front windows. It's going to be fabulous. Best of all, it's on a cul-de-sac. Jon can't wait to take Eli out front and play ball with him. We're hoping to spend many years in this house and make many wonderful memories for our family there. Here are a few pictures.
