Sibling Love

Before Krista was born I was pretty nervous about Eli being very jealous. He has always been a mama's boy so I was just sure that when a new baby came home with us and robbed him of his attention (and constant access to Mommy!) that he'd be extremely jealous. To my surprise he hasn't been nearly as jealous as I thought. He has his moments of course but I think he has accepted the role of "big brother" quite willingly. He's even become protective of her! The other day my mother-in-law was putting her in her car seat and she was crying. Eli got upset and pointed at her and said, "My baby!" He was upset that someone was upsetting his little sister.
