Sniffles

My poor baby. He's been getting more and more congested lately and has consequently gotten more and more fussy. He clearly hasn't felt well. He most likely got sick from me, as I have a sinus infection or a nasty cold. We both stayed home from church yesterday and then again today, commiserating with one another. :/

I took him to the doctor this afternoon because I was concerned that he wasn't having as many wet diapers as usual (no surprise since he hasn't nursed since very early Saturday morning). He had a rattle in one of his lungs and his O2 sats were only 92% at best. He received a breathing treatment at the office and his lungs were clear afterwards. We were sent on our way with a prescription for Zithromax. We'll follow up on Friday. In the meantime he will be getting some Pedia-lyte to help keep him from getting any more dehydrated.

Overall he's doing fine, he's just needing a little more cuddling than normal. He does still get playful throughout the day it just doesn't last as long as normal.

Hopefully soon mommy and baby will both be healthy again!
